Sunday at HP
- Trails are solid at Harold Parker even after the rains of two days earlier. This place drys out very fast. The parking lot was packed on Sunday, don't think we've ever seen so may cars in the lot before.
- M$ dropping off a tiny little rock... damn that rock looks small.
- And the Totem gets its first scratch~

"Jesus Heals, But Not on The Public Option"
Another ride at Harold Parker tomorrow. Blue Hills trail watch class in the am then we drive up to Andover for an afternoon jaunt about the range. Apparently, like LW, Blue Hills is also not open to bikes until tax day... here's a map if you're in need of a refresher.
Tentative meeting time is 1pm~

Vietnam
Yesterdays report from our man out west suggest Vietnam is good for riding! The trails were dry and there have been trail crews cleaning up the winter blow down.

Upton State Forest
Trail reports coming in from our sources at Upton State Forest are - WET - that's with all caps... but no exclamation point~
Next ride
Next ride is at Blue Hills on Sunday, about noon. Trail watch class for newbies is at 10:30, word is there's going to be a lecture on poisonous snakes... and pancakes... and topless dancers.
Next week Lynn Woods opens up to bikes on April 15th. Let's plan on a Sunday morning ride at Lynn, afterwards we can cruz all over to Owens place. He's going to BBQ a whole pig and park an old Toyota in the yard so we can ride all over it, thanks Owen, that sounds awesome!
Harold Parker w/ Dean and M$
took a lap around the yellow loop this morning.
trails are in good condition except for the usual spots that never seem to dry out. M$ breaking in the beast out in the lot, almost got its first scratch today... next time. Dean was a champ out there, no pads, no suspension, no air, no chain, and no complaints.
Some soft/wet spots like this above but mostly dry~

1st ride of the season
First ride of the season is tomorrow morning at Harold Parker 8am.
This picture was taken at Wampatuck last year but its a great shot and also from an early spring ride. The image was captured by the man know as Bear - http://www.bearcieri.com/ - he's pretty handy on the camera as well as the bike.
